Presented for sale is a mid 19th century pair of Chinese ginger jars of ovoid form with perforated wooden tops and carved stands. The jars are heavily enameled on a blue ground with turquoise laced scrolls embellished with top and bottom turquoise borders.
The jars are in very good condition; one jar has tight hairlines to the base. The matching stands and tops are darkened with a nice patina.
