In gratuitous appreciation of the Baroque style comes Wallace Silver Company’s tribute to that opulent era with their Grande Baroque silver pieces. We present for sale a 5-piece sterling silver tea service with a matching silver-plate tea urn and tray. The set consists of a coffee pot, teapot, covered sugar bowl, creamer, and a waste bowl all in sterling. The large hot water urn is on a stand with a burner and was made in silver-plate only because of its large size and weight. The large oval tray is also heavy silver-plate with side handles.
This deeply patterned design was created by William S. Warren in 1941 and was touted as being beautiful and artistic from every angle. The set is in excellent condition. Weight of sterling pieces: 3392 g.
