Offered for sale is a stunning Napoleon III Sienna marble cassolette mounted in bronze and fitted as a lamp. The cassolette is mounted on a marble plinth surmounted with a bronze socle. The urn is draped in garland and mounted with Bacchus head handles, a truly stunning piece. Once an oil lamp, it was converted early in the 20th century to serve as an electrical masterpiece.

The lamp is fitted with a silk shade that compliments the lamp. If you choose not to have the shade transported, the fixture will be shipped in one box. The price quoted for shipment does include the shade. The lamp has been rewired for safety and is in excellent condition. We’ve always collected these pieces and feel they are a true testament to the elegance of fine French antique furnishings.
