Presented for sale is a magnificent 19th C. terracotta grouping of musical cherubs after Ernst Carrier-Belleuse. The cherubs are perched atop a demilune plinth on a grassy ground covered in flowers. They are holding instruments and both are beautifully detailed front and back.
The grouping is signed with an illegible, impressed signature on the back; in very good condition with the exception of a missing instrument from the lower cherub.
