Offered for sale is an exquisite 19th century French gilt bronze trinket box featuring a hinged top inserted with a hand painted interior scene in miniature. The box is velvet lined; the hand painted scene is signed “Ferrand”.

The box is in very good condition with aging to the gilt surface.
