Offered for sale is a delightful 19th century French Enamel Snuff Box attributed to Sceaux. The box features vignettes of hand painted roses and other flowers to the exterior and interior surfaces accentuated by cross hatch painted side panels in pink. The box has an ormolu enclosure.
The box is in excellent condition with the following exceptions. The ormolu enclosure around the lid is loose and has been re-glued in the past and there is glue residue to the edges around the interior, best left as is so as not to damage the porcelain. The box is still very nice for display.
