Offered for sale is an early 19th century Josiah Spode bone china Imari inspired compote or raised dessert bowl with handles. The bowl features a serpentine edge with pierced scalloped handles raised on a scalloped foot. The bowl is enameled with botanicals in lovely peach colored enamels as well as cobalt blues, turquoise, and lavender lightly highlighted in gilt.
This piece is in excellent condition with a small amount of age related gilt wear.
