Offered for sale is a magnificent Chinese Export porcelain covered tureen with matching stand, circa 1775, Qianlong reign, Qing dynasty. The stand / underplate is hexagonal shaped with serpentine edges. The cover is decorated with a pomegranate finial. The tureen is enameled with floral sprigs and a lion rampant coat of arms, highlighted with gilt rims and rabbit head finials.
The ensemble is in excellent condition with minor wear to the edges to be expected with age.
