Presented for sale is an outstanding three-piece bronze and marble clock set made in France for Tiffany & Company in the Louis XVI style, circa 1900. The clock presents as a baluster shaped case mounted in bronze dolphins spewing forth a fountain of water. The case is supported on a socle mounted on a marble platform base raised on toupee feet. The garnitures present in the form of Amphora and can be shown either with a cover or turned to use as candlesticks. The white enamel dial is set in Roman numerals and protected with a glass-hinged bezel.
The set is in good condition with an aged patina to the bronze mounts and some wear to the ebony enamel finish. The clock is in working condition with all parts present but not running at the moment. There is currently a toupee foot missing on the rear that does not affect its stability; we are looking for a replacement.
