Scheibe Alsbach Kister Porcelain Cherub Riding Goat

Offered for sale is one of our favorite porcelain figurines, this particular model beautifully molded by Scheibe Alsbach Kister manufactory of Germany. They produced fine hard paste decorative porcelain in the style of the best Dresden and Meissen factories.

The goat and cherub are finely detailed with hand painted enamels. The figurine is in excellent condition, a very charming piece to decorate a desk, shelf, or cabinet.
