Offered for sale is a lovely oviform Royal Worcester Potpourri vase, liner, and cover. The date mark is for 1889 with the initials "H. S.", possibly for Harry Stinton at Worcester from 1883 – 1968. The body is hand-painted over a blush ivory background with meandering dogwood blossoms and other florals above a basketweave molded border enriched in brushed gilt. The vase also has a pierced dome cover and further liner.
The vase is beautifully painted in fine detail and in in excellent condition with the exception of a restored crack to the finial inside the nozzle (not seen).
