Offered for sale is a rare circa 1870 French Palissy style lozenge shaped plaque made by Polakowski & Cie, impressed mark for Polakowski & Cie, Roumazieres, made by Alfred Renoleau. The platter is applied with fish and a crayfish on a bed of molded leaves and wheat shafts.
The plaque is in very good condition with minor restoration to a fern tip and stabilization of a small mold crack.
