We are pleased to offer a late 19th to early 20th century hand carved Adams style English coffee table mounted with blue Wedgwood plaques. The table supports a marble slab top over a delicate hand carved floral frieze fitted with Wedgwood plaques. It is raised on fluted legs with intertwining stretchers and is finished in an antiqued blanc de plomb.
The table is in excellent condition with some restoration in the form of extra bracing to the underside of the stretcher toward the center plaque. The marble has been reinforced on the bottom with a mesh fiber. The finish has a wonderful patina and the hand carved frame is finely detailed.
Size: 39 ½” Length by 23 ½” Width by 21 ½” Height.
