Introducing for sale is an early 19th century French Provincial four-part settee of grained chestnut woods. The settee features serpentine carved horizontal slats, curved opened arms, and a wide ogee seat rail. It is raised on sabre legs and upholstered with a padded seat.
The settee is in very good condition, sturdy, with the appropriate signs of age and wear to the finish. The seat has been recently upholstered in a French stripe silk Lampas, and the seat has been re-braced for strength.
