Presenting for sale a charming 19th century porcelain figurine produced by the French firm of Edme Samson after the style of Chelsea’s gold anchor period. The figurine depicts a young huntress with her pheasant and calling horn dressed in a plumed hat. The hand painted details and floral encrusted tree trunks are typical of the detailed workmanship that was an earmark
of Samson’s pieces.
She is perched on a Rococo stand and marked with a spurious gold anchor. She is in excellent condition.
Size: 9 ½” Height.
