Offered for your consideration is a late 19th century 800 Silver pierced bowl with Putti design in the center. The bowl is attributed to German maker Adolph Mayer from Frankfurt, Germany. The bowl has been made by using techniques such as casting, stamping, chasing, and cut out details, a lot of specialized work that could only be done by a true artist.
The bowl is in very good condition with slight bend to the base foot on the underside of the bowl. The chasing and reticulation are superb.
Size: 1 ½" Height by 6 3/8" Diameter.
