Presented for sale is a magnificent pair of early 20th century silver plated E. F. Caldwell two-light wall sconces. The sconces are in the style of William and Mary cast after the original 1703 models by London maker John Rand. The detail is crisp and precise an earmark of the quality of pieces by Caldwell.
The sconces can be rewired by our lighting restorer at no extra cost, but the original wiring is still intact and usable, and they are ready to mount. They are in very good condition with a small amount of wear to the silverplate with brass showing through, which adds to their desirable patina. There is also a slight bend to one of the arms.
Size: 15" Height by 13" Width by 6 ½" Depth (projection from wall).
