Presented for sale is a matched pair of mid to late 19th century Venetian Lacca Povera corner cabinets with accompanying étagères or Angoliera Laccata Bombatas. The tall conforming cabinets each contain a double door that opens to a shelved and painted interior. Each cabinet is accompanied by a 4-shelf étagère that can either be hung or placed on top of the cabinet. The cabinets are painted in a celery green background with contrasting mustard panels splendidly decorated with baskets of fruit.
The cabinets are structurally in sound condition but do exhibit quite a bit of paint wear, which has been left as-is to showcase their age-related patina. They are very showy pieces, and a matched pair that will embellish and enhance any setting.
Size of Cabinets: 46 ½" Height by 35" Width
Size of Étagères: 36" Height by 31 ½" Width by 19" Depth.
