Offered for sale is an attractive early 19th century Worcester Flight & Barr Teapot with Stand in a spiral molded (shanked) potted body. The body and cover are decorated with hand painted floral sprigs and matches the original stand. The lid is topped with a beautiful bellflower finial.
The ensemble was potted in 1810 when the Worcester factory was under the ownership of Thomas Flight, Martin Barr, and Martin Barr the younger; a brief period between 1807 and 1829.
The trio is in excellent condition, a lovely example of the incredible early wares of this esteemed porcelain factory.
