Offered for sale is an English George III circa late 18th century satinwood cutlery urn. The urn is decorated with vertically strung inlay and a floral frieze. The domed stepped top terminates in a pretty white finial and lifts to an enclosed interior with divisions for cutlery. The urn is raised on a turned socle atop a square stepped base on bracket feet. All of the escutcheons are original.
The urn is in very good condition with minor abrasions to the string and banded inlay related to age. It makes an incredible display piece, especially as the centerpiece on a round table or sideboard.
Size: 24" Height.
