Offered for sale is a majestic pair of 19th century Napoleon III Ferdinand Bardedienne Bronze Candelabras, fitted later in the 20th century as lamps. The patinated bronze urns are finely cast with neo-classical scenes. They are supported on socles, which are cast with face masks terminating on stacked squared plinths. The urns are topped with six-arm candelabras that still hold candles.
Electricity had been added to the center support and is topped with a shade concealing two lights. The lamps are in excellent age related condition with an even aged patina to the bronze. They have been rewired to bring them up to modern safety standards and fitted with silk designer shades.
