Presented for sale is a magnificent late 18th to early 19th century Italian Istoriato Faenza Cobalt Blue decorated wall charger. The charger is decorated with an all-over armorial scene featuring Roman soldiers in front of a battlement.
The charger is in excellent condition with minor chipping to the rim and old restoration shallow spots near the top where the glaze was filled in and over-painted, otherwise no repairs.
