Presented for sale is a magnificent 19th century glazed Italian Terracotta Allegorical grouping depicting a drunken Bacchus astride a goat being held up by two Nymphs after Frederick Etienne Le Roux. Two putti are coaxing the goat, which is draped in floral garlands.
This is a large impressive piece with incredible detail and would be perfect for display on a sideboard or console.
The sculpture is in excellent condition with some professional restoration present to the base.
