Here is a rare set of six early 19th century English hand painted buffet compotes or tazzas most likely by Minton. The six tazzas are of graduating sizes, each beautifully detailed on a turquoise background with splashes of different floral bouquets. The painting is very detailed and finely executed.
The tazzas are all in excellent age related condition with minor wear to the gilt banding. One of the small tazzas has a restoration to the top of the stem where it meets the dish, another small tazza has an age line to the base, one of the medium sized tazzas has a small chip in the very center. The set would look spectacular on top of a sideboard or buffet.
