An elegant 14-piece mid 19th century dessert set made by R G Scrivener & Co. featuring hand painted pastoral scenes. The china is decorated with a scalloped pink border framed with raised beading and highlighted with gilt. Scrivener operated out of Hanley, England from 1870-1883.
The set consists of 12 dessert plates and 2 compotes all in excellent condition with a minute amount of enamel and gilt wear. This set would be stunning in a china cabinet or for wall display.
