An early 20th century German porcelain figurine made by the Ernst Wahliss Bohemian porcelain factory, founded in Trnovany, Czech Republic (Turn-Teplitz, Bohemia, Austria, 1863). The figure depicts a dashing 1790 Dragoner (light infantry soldier) resplendent in braided jacket and pelisse (cape usually thrown over shoulder) with his saber by his side.
He is beautifully hand painted and mounted on a round platform stand with identification plaque. There has been some restoration.
