A finely painted Imari shell shaped platter with lobed edge. A reserve of flowers decorates the center of the platter. The outer rim is decorated in panels with brightly colored enamels alternating in scenic cartouches and meandering vines with butterflies and chrysanthemums.
The back is embellished with leafy symbols and the platter is signed. The platter is in excellent condition with vivid bright colors that exhibit little to no loss of enamel.
