Beautiful Limoges hand painted wall plate produced 1920 by Lazeyras, Rosenfeld, & Lehman Limoges. The charger features, a hunter’s catch, a pheasant lying on a table with a vase of flowers in the background. The rococo scalloped edge is highlighted in gilt, and the plate is signed by artist, Mulville. This artist is listed in the Collector’s Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain.
The wall plate is in excellent condition with a small amount of age related wear to the gilt rim, a small 1/8” chip to the 7:00 o’clock area on the plate rim, and a minor area of enamel loss near the lower wing of the bird. The enamels are still vivid and richly presented. The plate includes hanging hardware.
