Late 19th century Louis XV style center table with serpentine shaped top exhibiting foliate inlays edged in ormolu. The table has a conforming apron and is supported on slender cabriole legs decorated with delicate ormolu mounts. This is a very versatile table and can be used in any area of the house, in the middle of a room, as a dressing or writing table, or beside a chair or sofa, the possibilities are endless. This is one reason we can't keep them in the shop.
The table is in excellent condition with minor surface lifting of the veneer layer in a small area of the top, often found on these satinwood pieces and part of their aged charm.
