19th C. French Enameled Bisque Bust After Paul Duboy
Presenting for sale is a life size French bisque bust of a young woman dressed in a bright plaid-buttoned top with a blue scarf tied round her head, attributed to Paul Duboy (1830 - 1887). The painting and features are finely executed with wonderful detail.
The bust is raised on a pastel painted and jeweled pedestal. She is marked on the bottom with numbers only, but her quality is unmistakable. She is in excellent condition, no breaks, chips, or cracks, and would look fabulous atop a shelf, desk, or table.
Size: 17 1/2" Height
