Offered for sale is an impressive under-glaze blue transferware platter, mid 19th century in a “Roman Ruins landscape” pattern of very large size. The all over scene covers the entire area of the platter perfect for wall display. The platter has slight discoloration and allover crazing commensurate with age and this type of earthenware, but it does not detract from its beauty.
