Presenting a magnificent late 18th century Baroque Tabernacle walnut three-part Bureau Commode Sécretaire (secretary) cabinet with marquetry design of plumwood, birdseye maple wood, and rosewoods with ormolu mounts. The top cabinet features small half drawers flanking a center cabinet, top, bottom, and sides. The cabinet door unlocks to reveal a compartment containing a latch on either side that allows for the other drawers to unlock and open. The middle section contains a slanted lid which opens to reveal a writing surface and fitted interior. The block front bureau contains three long drawers and is supported on bun feet.
