Presenting an exquisite pair of classically shaped porcelain two-part bolted urns in the Capodimonte style made by the German porcelain manufacturer, Rudolstadt, Ernst Bohne Sons (1854-1920.) The urns feature an unusual procession of Roman soldiers on horseback in a continuous scene featuring Anthemion-shaped handles with portrait roundels and figurehead terminations. They are exquisitely hand-painted in brilliant earth tones. Both are in excellent condition with the exception of a tiny chip to the tip of the nose on one of the faces at the base of the handle.
Size 11 ½" Height.
