Offered for sale is a pair of delicate Art Nouveau period Doulton stoneware vases, each with a flanged lip above a tapering neck over a baluster shaped body. The shaded cobalt-glazed necks are decorated in gilt floral sprigs and the body with large sunflowers on a tapestry background.
The vases are an example of the Slater patent where material was pressed into the body to form a pattern and then fired and gilded.
They are both in excellent condition with very small losses to the gilt.
Size: 12 ½” Height.
