Presented for sale is an exceptional early 1820 circa Bloor derby porcelain side dish in the style of Richard Dodson. The dish is close to being heart-shaped with a lovely hand painted border of scrolled mulberry vines enhanced with extensive gilding.
The dish is in excellent age appropriate condition with minor loss of gilt and enamels. There is a minor restoration to stabilize a tight rim hairline that is barely visible only under close scrutiny.
Size: 10” Length by 8” Width.
