Presented for sale is a lovely pair of Shoshone Native American child's partially beaded moccasins. They were made by Sara Weed, as stated, and are sinew sewn of tanned hide, decorated with glass trade beads in a floral pattern, circa early 20th century.
They come from the cherished collection of a lovely lady who spent the early 1940's with the Indian services visiting and living on various reservations. She fell in love with the people and their artistry where she collected some lovely pieces.
The moccasins are in excellent condition, very soft and supple. They have been lovingly displayed in her collection for many years.
Size: 5 1/2" Length.
