Presented for sale is a beautiful pair of Lakota Sioux fully beaded small child's ceremonial moccasins, circa late 19th to early 20th century. These moccasins are sinew sewn of supple dyed buffalo hide with parfleche soles. The trade glass beading is expertly sewn in a lovely pattern.
They come from the cherished collection of a lovely lady who spent the early 1940's with the Indian services visiting and living on various reservations. She fell in love with the people and their artistry where she collected some lovely pieces.
The moccasins are in excellent condition and have been lovingly cared for and displayed for many years.
