Offered for sale is a stunning pair of Ambrosius Lamm decorated Dresden porcelain dessert plates. The plates are decorated in a wide royal blue border with raised gilt enameling and floral sprigs. The center is gilded in a sunburst pattern with floral medallion.
Lamm was a well-respected porcelain decorator who opened a shop in Dresden, Germany in 1887. He obtained porcelain blanks from Meissen, KPM, and Rosenthal and decorated his pieces in the Meissen and Royal Vienna styles.
The plates are in very good condition with some age related wear seen mostly on the gilded sunburst portion. They would be lovely featured as cabinet pieces.
