Presented for sale is a vintage reproduction of Frederic Remington’s bronze, "Bronco Buster”. It is Remington’s most popular and well-known referenced figure. Remington created the original bronze in 1895 from an illustration he had done earlier called “The Pitching Bronco” for Harper’s Weekly. An original casting can be found in the Oval Office.
The piece is finely cast with the lost wax method, with very nice detail, something more recent pieces seem to be lacking. It is in excellent condition and comes from an Estate where it had remained since early 1980. It is mounted on a marble base.
Size: 21” Height by 17” Length by 6 ½” Depth.
