Here is a wonderful and very valuable French Louis Philippe period table with 2 drop leaves + 3 extra leaves. This piece was made of solid mahogany during Napoleon III reign, 2nd Empire by a French cabinet maker in the 1860's. I bought this piece in South West of France (well known in France for the quality of the antique country pieces). Very large table with the 3 extra leaves. The 3 extra leaves are not the same wood as the table (probably pine) You can see the exact same table at the Oak Alley Plantation (Louisiana) because the first owner (Jacques Telesphore Roman) of this fabulous mansion was French and purchased this table in France in the 1830's.
