Highly collectible set of 2 old plates from Alsace (Eastern France).
These charming Alsatian pieces of pottery (hand-made and hand-painted), dating around 1920’s, come from many different villages throughout the region. The brown “terre vernissee”, or glazed pottery, with its decorative flowers, comes from the village of Soufflenheim.
Good condition (No cracks, no chips).
