This charming Alsatian tureen with its lid was made in the late 1800's. This brown “terre vernissee”, or glazed pottery, with its decorative flowers, comes from the village of Soufflenheim. A little part of France in your home.
No cracks, VERY small chips. h-3.5"/ w-10"/ d-6.25" Good condition!
As you can see on photos, 2 holes were drilled on the lid for oven cooking
