Specializing in beautiful & unusual Pearl Jewelry, I'm pleased to present this stunning 1970s Diamond, Sapphire & Akoya Pearls Necklace !
The luscious vintage cultured Pearls are South Sea Akoya, and a plump 7mm in size. They are ivory-white in color with subtle teal and mauve overtones, wonderful lovely luminous nacre. Hand-knotted between each plump pearl. The dazzling large 14 Karat White Gold Clasp is stacked high with tiers of genuine Sapphire Gemstones alternating with Pearls, then another tier of larger Pearls, and crowned with 8 crisp white Diamonds ! Another 7mm Akoya Pearl is set in its center. There is a small blemish to one side of this pearl, which is not readily apparent unless looking for it.
Its Diamonds sparkling and fiery, it is stamped "14K" on the tongue of the slide clasp.
The total length in pearl strands (excluding the clasp) is 29". The shortest wearable length (including clasp) is 15.25", & the longer length is 16" also including clasp.
Diamonds professionally identified using Presidium Gem Tester.

Clasp : 14 Karat White Gold, measures Large .75" round and .7" deep
