Fulper Pottery arts and crafts period vase with an interesting speckled glaze. This is early Fulper made with stoneware clay, dating first quarter 20th century, and made in New Jersey. Medium blue matte finish glaze with tan and cobalt speckles. Slightly bubbly volcanic surface. There are prunts on the shoulder of the vase, giving it a true arts and crafts or mission style. Vase is in good condition. On the rim I spot one tiny flake, which you will see in close up photo. It is not a damage, but an open bubble, in the making. You need a magnifying glass to notice it. The surface has tiny bubbles in the firing, part of the texture of the glaze. No chips, no lines, no repairs. A nice example of American art pottery from the mission period. Marked on the bottom with older Fulper ink stamp. Clay body is heavy stoneware. Height 7 inches.
