This is a very pretty 1970s floral boho dress made with a quality printed Swiss dotted voile and other printed cotton fabrics. This 1970s floral boho dress takes design influence from traditional Afghani dresses that was very popular with young people/hippies during the late 60s and early 70s. The dress has a deep V neckline. The shoulders of the bodice has a window pane check voile shoulder front and floral panel across the bust. The sleeves are cut very wide and full and have checked cuffs in the same print as the bodice. The skirt is gathered in tucks underneath the bodice, which gives the skirt fullness so that it falls in drapes, front and back. The centre of the skirt has an abstract printed panel - the back is similarly constructed. There is a pocket built into either side and the dress is unlined. This 1970s floral boho dress has no closures so the dress simply fits over the head.
Label: None, but I have another very similar vintage velvet boho dress in different fabrics from the same estate that has a label in it that reads “Paris Workshop Piece Unique” - I’m sure that this was from the same maker.
Sizing: No size is indicated this vintage velvet boho dress, and although it should fit a medium size, please note the following measurements for fit, keeping the style of the dress in mind, which has to slip on over the head:
