This is a beautiful quality fur felt bucket hat made during the 1960s. The hat has a high crown and a stepped downward brim. The upper crown and upper brim are decorated with black stitching. The base of the crown is wrapped with brown grosgrain ribbon with a ribbon at the back. The opening measures 21 1/2” around, but the hat is meant to sit towards the back of the head, so probably would fit a range of medium sized heads. It is in very good condition with no wear, tear or staining - this hat looks to have seen little or no use and has been well cared for over the years.
Age: early 1960s
Label: Josee de Montreal
The felt on this hat is extremely soft and pliable, exceptional quality….fabulous 60s look!
