From the early 1950s here a mole fur stole in a most unusual color blue, a deep blueberry blue. It has shoulder pads and an interior deep pocket on each side that you can fit your hands. It has one hook and eye at the chest area. It is lined in a mauve grayish satin.
The label reads Woods of Halifax. There is another label on the interior of the right pocket, which reads Miss D. Duncan, 49 Fenwick St.
This is pretty much a once sized item unless you are particularly tiny in the shoulders or have very large shoulders.
Length at the Back: 18
Length at the Front 27
Overall length spread out fully: approximately 60 inches.
It is in very good condition, one tiny split at the back of the neck, shown in the last photo.
This could also be worn over a simply styled black or gray coat for a touch of elegance.
