This is a vintage men’s dressing gown featuring a repeating abstract motif in colours of red, silver grey and yellow against a navy blue background. The robe is made of satin, either a rayon or acetate, and does up with a sash belt at the waist - the belt is a replacement in a matte acetate, and isn’t exactly the same tone of blue. The robe has padded shoulders, shawl lapels, turned cuffs, a breast pocket and an applied pocket at either side. The lapels and cuffs are in solid blue satin while the pockets are trimmed in solid blue satin. It is unlined. The label reads “A “British” Gown Tailored to Perfection B/N”
