From the 1920s here's a period cloak or cape made of brown wool. It is trimmed with brown rickrack and has two flounces at the bottom. It features a large dramatic collar to frame the face. The cape closes with a loop and a very art deco styled rectangular button at the neckline - it also has a loop and ribbon at the waist level for securing the cape closed. The piece is fully lined with tan colored silk taffeta.
There is no maker's or size label - it should fit a small to medium, but please rely on the following measurements for fit, all taken on the outside:
Shoulders: 16" across
Bust: 44" around
Bottom sweep: 86" around
Overall Length: 46"
This piece is in very good condition. A fine example of a 1920s era wool cloak.
