This is a 60s era dress with matching jacket, both in yellow shantung silk. The dress has a high neckline that is in trimmed in loops of glass beading. The dress is made in a sleeveless style with high waist and above the knee length. It is fully lined with gold toned acetate fabric and does up the back with a zipper. The matching jacket has a collarless neckline, 3/4 length sleeves, cutaway front and does up with five fabric covered buttons.

Label: Daymor Original. Daymor was founded during the mid 1950s. They now produce formal wear under the Daymor Couture label with a specialization in mother of the bride and groom garments.

Condition: It is in very good condition with no wear, tear or staining except for one tiny black mark on the dress at the left bust, very small, but present nevertheless. I haven’t tried to get it out. Otherwise, this dress looks to have very little use and was well stored over the years.
